Binder for Sport Tracks

Mondur® MDI diisocyanates and Multranol® / Arcol® / Acclaim® polyether polyols are used as raw materials in the production of binders for composite sport and safety surfaces. A range of both one- and two-component elastomeric polyurethane materials in combination with rubber crumb of varying size can be readily formulated to the desired properties. Key properties include flexibility, elasticity, and damping capability; these can be varied over a wide range by changing the shape / size of the rubber particles, the type and amount of binder, and the degree of compaction applied to the composite during application.
